Thanks for visiting!

Chad was taken by the advertising field while still in design school.  After graduation, and a year of ad design and Art Directing at McFarland Advertising, a virgin FOX TV station stole him away to create a studio set for their new children’s show. From that point on, the hook was in.

Chad began to plot his course for a bright future in the television field, by training himself in every aspect of TV production and promotion.  Starting as a graphic designer, he quickly ascended to art director of the FOX station, then to promotion director of a CBS affiliate, and then to creative director of a regional news network in New York. It was a wild nine years that helped yield higher ratings, earned him numerous awards, and brought priceless experiences.

With aspirations to push his nationally to station groups and networks, Chad presented his long-time business associates at Cinemagic with the idea of adding Broadcast Design to their menu of services. As Director of Motion Design, Chad went on to help position Cinemagic as an international leader in the field of broadcast graphics and station branding. Now with the launch of Jump, a new adventure ensues.

It’s been nearly 20 years since a fresh designer from Pennsylvania named Matthew Beekman graduated from Wilkes University with his B.F.A. degree and a passion for design. He started with a small advertising agency, working paste-up with an exacto knife and technical pens. Little did he know the “old-school” way of graphic design would become the stepping stone for a new path. A local CBS affiliate needed a graphic designer, and with great enthusiasm, Matt accepted the offer. At that time, desktop systems were in their infancy, but Matt saw the opportunity and embraced the new technologies. Learning every program he could get his hands on, he applied them to the design of news packages, sporting events, and commercial production.

Next, a new challenge... interactive media. Matt took what he learned from designing television to a brand new technology, DVD. As a Creative Director with a fledgling multimedia dept., the word soon spread, and before he knew it, he was designing creative motion menus for top Hollywood studios, major music labels, and some of the largest released DVD’s of all time. Matt continues on his quest, “jumping” to new heights. With Jump Motion Design... Let’s see what he does next!

Did you ever have that friend or maybe talk to that person who seems to always have a witty, quirky, even sometimes dorky response to everything you say or do.  If not, let us introduce you to Will Beekman (no relation to Matt).

After graduating from Penn State University with a B.A. in English and another B.A. in Journalism, Will spent the next six-plus years working within the Marketing/Communications Department for a professional hockey team.

Beginning as the club’s Communications Manager, Will’s creative writing soon gave way to creative thinking and creative design.  Before long he had scaled the proverbial ladder to become the team’s Director of Creative Services/Game Operations.  From there, he literally took his creativity to a larger arena and is now lending his talents to the world of Event and Arena Marketing.

With an artistic eye, creative pen and spontaneously creative mind, you never know what’s next on Will’s agenda.  What we do know is that he has happily hopped aboard this out-of-control locomotive we call Jump Motion.

Stay tuned…

Jump Trivia: Matt & Chad met at WYOU-TV in 1995, where together, they led the Promotion Department to new heights. Their creative campaigns and on-air productions significantly grew the overall ratings, and positioned the station as a true contender in the top 50 market... They also celebrated the births of each of their first sons, Alec & Kyle, that same year. -- More Jump Trivia: Although they share the same last name, Matt and Will Beekman are of no relation. However, they do share the same odd sense of humor.
